Have a sore throat, fever or pain when swallowing? Our pharmacists can perform a rapid strep throat assessment and test in minutes to detect if you have a bacterial throat infection. Strep throat is caused by a bacteria called Streptococcus pyogenes (group A streptococcus). It is also a helpful memory tool which is especially important if you have to take several medications or even the same medication several times a day, every other day or at very specific times. Each medication in the blister packaging is labeled with its description and directions for use.

Each medication is placed in a bubble in the pack so that dosing occurs at the same time of day, all needed is to pop the medication out through the removable backing.

Each pack can be used as a single unit, or if you are commuting to work, traveling or running errands, each pack comes with an option to tear away a perforated strip or segment and take it with you on the go.

In LifeCare IDA Pharmacy we offer both safe medication, and sharps disposal. You can leave them in the Medication Disposal box at the main entrance of our pharmacy.
